ABOUT ART ASSOCIATES INTERNATIONAL, LLC
Leslie Neiman-Goldsmith has had years of experience in the art
industry. Starting off as a painter herself and growing up in
the most prestigious art center of the world, Manhattan, allowed
her a great depth of understanding to the business of art.
Ms. Goldsmith was a graduate of three major institutions: A
high school graduate of the famed La Guardia High
School of Music and Art (depicted in the movie Fame),
she received a BFA in Painting from Carnegie- Mellon University
in Pittsburgh, PA, and a MA in Arts Administration from New
York University.
She has worked for well known NY businesses such as Hammer Galleries,
NYC, Hilde Gerst Galleries, NYC, Dyansen Galleries, NYC, Museum
of Modern Art, Sothebys - NY, as well as non profit organizations
like the International Craft Association and the New York Experimental
Glass Workshop.
As a graduate intern, Leslie Goldsmith worked on the 1984 Venice
Biennale and lived there for 3 months. Subsequently, she traveled
all through Europe exploring many countries and their cultural
attributes. Leslie still continues to travel both nationally
and internationally exhibiting and promoting artists. In addition
to her own business, Leslie has partnered with Chiara Goya of
Goya Galleries in Melbourne, Australia. Her exclusive relationship
with the renowned Goya Galleries offers her American clientele,
one of her specialties, the finest of Australian art.
Currently, Leslie is based in New York and has an office in
Melbourne, Australia.
